Halloween
Since it’s almost October, my mind is naturally on Halloween. Since I’m morally opposed to purchasing a costume, I need time to plan and create my yearly masterpiece. Now is about the time that I make the final decision on what to be. Since I’m teaching now, I want to transition back into my family’s tradition of having literary costumes. I’ve also decided to have a little fun and let my students vote on what they want me to dress up as. So far I’ve selected the following options:
- Nancy Drew
- Anne of Green Gables
- Hermione Granger
- Scout Finch
I’m open to other suggestions too. It has to be school appropriate, based in literature, and doable on a teacher’s salary. Suggestions?
